According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the national capital on Monday was 31.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the seasonal average.

Relative humidity fluctuates between 90% and 30% during the day.

The Meteorological Bureau predicts that the sky will be cloudy on Tuesday, the wind speed may be 30 to 40 km/h, and the maximum and minimum temperatures may stabilize at 33 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively.

Over the next seven days, temperatures are expected to be between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius, with no heat wave expected.

According to the IMD weekly forecast, the sky will be generally cloudy for the next four days and the capital will be accompanied by gusty winds.

The hottest day last month occurred on March 30, with a maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius.
