Delhi Metro will start services at 4 am on all its lines to facilitate the public to access the duty path for the Republic Day parade on January 26, DMRC officials said on Wednesday.
He said the services would be available at 30-minute intervals till 6 am and thereafter the regular timetable would be followed for the rest of the day.
“Those who have genuine e-invitation cards or e-tickets to attend the Republic Day celebrations will be issued coupons on showing government issued identity cards at the stations, which will be valid for exiting the Central Secretariat and Industry. Will be. “There are only building stations to reach the duty path,” a Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) statement said.
The same coupon will be valid for return journey from both these stations.
Officials further said that passengers who have been marked for enclosures 1 to 9 and V1 and V2 on the invitation card should deboard at Udyog Bhawan.
“Similarly, those marked for enclosures 10 to 24 and VN (with invitation cards) are advised to deboard at the Central Secretariat. Regular announcements will also be made inside the trains to inform the passengers about the same so that they deboard at the designated stations to easily reach their enclosures,” DMRC said.
