“Deep tragic”: DPAP President Ghulam Nabi Azad mourning goes through former DDG Doordarshan Bashrat Ahmed Khan

Srinagar, July 24: Chairman Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), Ghulam Nabi Azad today expressed grief over the death of former DDG Doordarshan, Bashrat Ahmed Khan.

In a post on Facebook, Ghulam Nabi Azad wrote, “I am deeply saddened by my beloved friend Bashrat Ahmed Khan’s passing of DDG Dordarshan, who is a nutritious companion of my student’s days. The broadcast world has lost one of its best voices. Public broadcast of dedication in Kashmir”.

“A pillar of Doordarshan, he was praised not only by his colleagues but also by people from all areas of life. His honesty, integrity, creativity and visionary work left a permanent mark on our culture and media. They would be remembered, a creative force and above, a true gentleman.
