Kupwara, June 4: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan Today Chaired A Meeting of Concerned Officers to review the latest Progress under PM Surya Ghar-Muft Bijali Yoja.
On the occasion, DC expressed his disappointment over the disappointing performance of the scheme in the district and asked the authorities to avoid the indifferent approach towards work and ensure saturation of the scheme in the district.
He emphasized the need for maximum enrollment of beneficiaries under the scheme, which aims to reduce people’s power supply issues and reduce their electricity fees to zero.
To speed up the pace of the plan, DC said that progress will be monitored to JE level at regular intervals, besides, monitoring sub -division and division levels. He warned of action against the officials who do not show interest in the achievement of goals.
It was given that KPDCL would conduct awareness cum enrollment camps every day during the next two weeks starting from tomorrow. They will start with nomination drives tomorrow at DC Office Complex and RDD Complex Kupwara to speed up the outreach of PM Surya Ghar-Mufal Bijli Yojana.
The meeting was attended by KPDCL Kupwara/Handwara, CPO, AEES, District Manager CSC and other related executive engineers.
