Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha honored BSF Constable Deepak Chingkham on Monday during his wreath ceremony in Jammu.
Deepak Chingkham in Jammu, who lost his life on 10 May due to cross -border firing from Pakistan in RS Pura sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, DG BSF and all rank paid condolences to Deepak Chingkham.
“DG salutes the highest sacrifice made by constable Deepak Chingkham in the line of BSF and all rank duty. He was injured in a cross border fire by Pakistan on 10 May 2025, along with the international border in the Purma region, Jammu. He was injured today on 11 May 2025 with his injuries.
“Prahari Parivavar is firm in these efforts with the bereaved family,” is written in the post.
Earlier, the Border Security Force (BSF) confirmed that Deputy Inspector MD Imtez lost his life during cross -border firing by Pakistan along with the international border in the RS Puro area of Jammu.
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also paid his last honor to BSF Sub Inspector MD Imtez. LG honored the soldier’s sacrifice, expressed condolences to his family and prayed for his strength in this hour of grief.
Leaders in Bihar paid tribute to BSF Deputy Superintendent Mohammad Imtyaz when their mortal remains were brought to Patna, the capital of Bihar on Monday. Imtoz was killed in a cross -border firing by the Pakistan Army in the RS Pura sector of Jammu. “We are all proud of him, he sacrificed his life for the people of India … The brave armed forces are protecting us, and that’s why we are able to sleep peacefully,” RJD leader Tejashvi Yadav told reporters.
Bihar Minister Shravan Kumar said that the whole country is with the bereaved family of BSF officer.
