Kannada star Darshan will star in a film titled ‘Devil’, which will be directed by Prakash Veer, known for his work in the film ‘Mirana’. This is their second collaboration after the 2017 film “Tarak”, which also starred Sruthi Hariharan and Shanvi Srivastava. The music of “Devil” is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath and the cinematography is by Santhosh Rai Pathaje.

Darshan seems to have updated his profile picture on Instagram, opting for a picture of his latest look from the film “Devil”. In the photo, Darshan is wearing a white suit and black-rimmed glasses, exuding a super fashionable and sophisticated aura. While the exact reason for the profile photo change is unknown, it may have been a deliberate choice to align his social media presence with his character’s appearance in the upcoming film.

Director Prakash recently revealed that the actual shooting of the film has not started yet and only a few scenes have been shot so far. The delay was due to Darshan’s involvement in promoting his film “Kaatera” around the release of “Devil”. The production team has kept a low profile on the project, releasing only limited updates since it was announced in November. So far, only one poster for The Devil has been released, leaving very little known about the film.

Darshan’s birthday is February 16 and it is a long-standing tradition in the South Indian film industry to announce details of upcoming films on the birthdays of major stars. Following this tradition, the producers confirmed that the trailer for “Evil” will be released on February 16th. This official announcement has fans eagerly anticipating it, with only three days remaining until its release.
