In protest against the suspension, three Congress leaders resigned from the party.

Meanwhile, addressing a press conference on Friday, Tejpal Mirdha said: “In the assembly polls, the Congress is in a strong position in Nagaur. It has won four out of eight seats. Even in the Lok Sabha Its position is equally strong in the opinion polls, so why form an alliance with the RLP.”

“Hanuman Beniwal is an instrument trying to destroy the Congress party in Nagaur. Congress workers are deeply shocked to be in alliance with such a person. That is why we all collectively resign,” he added road.

“The Congress high command entered into an alliance with the RLP without the consent of the local Congress unit. This alliance was forced on us. The RLP had worked hard to defeat the Congress in the entire district. We have never been on the same page as the BJP . Nonetheless, Benivar was expelled “We were expelled from the party. The Congress directly issued the Tughlaqi decree expelling us without any information or any excuse,” he said.
