Charity calls aid workers killed in Gaza strike ‘heroes’

Seven aid workers, including three Britons, killed in Israeli air strikes on Gaza will be remembered as “heroes”, the charity they work for said.

“These seven beautiful souls were killed in an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) attack while returning from a long day mission,” said Erin Gore, CEO of World Central Kitchen.

There are also concerns that Monday’s attack could hamper efforts on a maritime corridor that allows more supplies to enter increasingly desperate war zones.
