iQoo 12th Anniversary Edition India release date confirmed; key features revealed

The iQoo 12th Anniversary Edition will be launched in India to celebrate iQoo’s fourth anniversary in the country. The company has now announced the launch date of the special edition model and confirmed some details. The phone will be available in special color options to celebrate the four-year milestone. The domestic price of the iQoo 12th Anniversary Edition has also been announced. Notably, the standard iQoo 12 with triple rear cameras was launched in India in December 2023.

The listings reveal that the phone comes with a price tag of Rs. 49,999. Buyers can avail the no-cost EMI option for up to nine months during the purchase period. At the same time, customers of ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank can also get conditional Rs. Instant discount of 3,000 square meters.

The iQoo 12th Anniversary Edition will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and SuperComputing Q1 display chip. It features a 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a local peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The phone will feature 144 frames per second (fps) gaming frame interpolation. It will also support 120W wired fast charging, which is said to charge the phone from 0 to 50% in just 12 minutes.

In terms of optics, the iQoo 12th Anniversary Edition will feature a triple rear camera unit, similar to the standard iQoo 12. It will include a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter, and a paired 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.

The iQoo 12th Anniversary Edition will be launched in India in Desert Red hue with vegan leather upholstery. This color scheme was launched in China earlier. In India, the standard version of iQoo 12 is launched in Alpha (black) and Legend (white) options.
