The election rally, dubbed ‘Prajagalam’, marks the first public rally for NDA elections in Andhra Pradesh in preparation for the legislative assembly and Lok Sabha polls scheduled to be held simultaneously on May 13.

Besides announcing that the Lok Sabha elections will be held in seven phases starting from April 19, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar on Saturday also announced that Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Odisha Assembly poll schedule for these four states.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar said that a total of 968 million voters will be eligible to vote in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
