Prime Minister Narendra Modi is personally overseeing New Delhi’s rescue of eight navy veterans jailed in Qatar, Center says The effort saw seven of the navy veterans arrive in Delhi hours ago. Responding to media queries at a special briefing, Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra said: “Prime Minister Modi has been personally monitoring this issue. This (release) is a testament to his leadership and a reflection of (India’s relationship with Qatar).”
