BTS star J-Hope’s documentary series Hope On The Street confirms release date

BTS member J-Hope recently celebrated his 30th birthday on Sunday. J-Hope is currently serving in the military in South Korea and is unable to produce new material for fans. However, J-Hope fans will soon be able to watch a six-part dance documentary series featuring J-Hope. The documentary series “Hope on the Street,” produced by BTS’s label HYBE, will be released on Amazon Prime Video on March 28, with new episodes released every Thursday and Friday. The documentary series aims to cover the thriving dance scenes around the world and highlight J-Hope’s love for dance. Before debuting with BTS, J-Hope was a member of the underground dance group Neuron. He also took dance courses at the Gwangju Conservatory of Music for six years.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, J-Hope will join famous dancer Boogaloo Kin as they explore the streets of Osaka, Seoul, New York, Paris and J-Hope’s hometown of Gwangju to meet up-and-coming street dancers. The documentary series will also include songs from J-Hope’s upcoming album “Hope on the Street Vol.1”. The six-song album is set to be released on March 29. J-Hope previously released his 2022 solo album “Jack in the Box”, which ranked sixth on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Interestingly, last March, just before his mandatory enlistment, J-Hope released the single “On the Street”, a collaboration with American rapper J. Cole. J-Hope has previously mentioned his new album and the Suchwita documentary series, a talk show hosted by his bandmate Suga.

Speaking about the project, J-Hope said: “There will be new content about my life called Street Hope. It will be about my dance and my story,” as he ate and drank The gap explained. “The dance scene is actually much bigger than you think. It just hasn’t surfaced yet. But if you really dig deep, you’ll find that the talent is huge and the market is huge. So, speaking from my personal experience , although I haven’t been to many cities, I’ve traveled around the world and filmed with a lot of amazing dancers. This documentary will be released in 2024. Just like its name, “Hope on the Street”. This is just J- Hope was dancing in the streets.”

He also added: “‘Hope on the Street’ will even have an OST album. It’s just a special album of six songs.”
