Akshay Kumar Starrer’s “Start Up” to be released on July 12?this is what we know

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his next album Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff. The action thriller is set to release on Eid this year and the makers recently released the trailer. Well, apart from this Akshay Kumar has another film called Start Up. However, it was originally scheduled to be released in September last year, but was later postponed. Now with the latest update, the movie will be released on July 24, 2024. Pinkvilla exclusively shared the details.

The entertainment portal mentioned in its report that Start Up will have a longer campaign with multiple asset drops ahead of its release. “Start Up” is the working title and the makers will soon announce the new title through video assets. While the film was initially slated to release on February 16, the makers have now locked in a release date after the T-20 World Cup .The film directed by Sudha Kongara is a rich film that needs a clear release date and July 12 fits in with the date that the team is considering,” a source revealed.

“This is a GV Prakash musical and the songs work really well and are in sync with the theme of the film. Vikram Malhotra and Suriya believe, by Akshay Kumar Akshay Kumar-starrer Sudha has the potential to strike a chord with the audience as the narration brings Akshay the star together with Akshay the actor,” the source added. Interestingly, Surya also plays a cameo in the film.

This is the remake of Suriya’s “Soorarai Pottru”. The film is a Tamil National Award winning film starring Surya in the lead role. The film is inspired by the life experiences of GR Gopinath, founder of Indian low-cost airline Simplifly Deccan. This 2020 Tamil drama film is directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under their respective banners 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment. This story was conceived and written by Kongara. The film stars Suriya, Aparna Balamurali and Paresh Rawal in the lead roles, with Mohan Babu, Urvashi and Karunas in supporting roles.
