Hyderabad:

Police registered a case against BRS working president KT Rama Rao after a ruling Congress party activist complained that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy was collecting money from builders and others and passing it on to the party.

The Congress activist complained to the Hanumakonda police near Warangal and the police registered an “zero FIR” and transferred it to the class here on grounds of jurisdiction, police said on Saturday. Garashan Police.

Rama Rao is said to have made the remarks in Hyderabad.

The case was registered under Section 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and Section 505 (expression causing mischief to public), police added.
