Brooke Shields was recently spotted looking stylish as she strolled the streets of New York with a friend on Monday.

Shields’ stylish appearance was revealed during her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which she discussed the impact of her mother’s alcoholism on her growing up, revealing how it shaped her into a “likeable people”.

Looking back on her experience, Shields said it took her decades to realize she couldn’t change her mother’s behavior.

She describes her upbringing as profoundly damaging, noting that it shaped her personality and tendencies.

She explains from her autobiography how growing up in such an environment affected her self-expression, likening herself to a “golden retriever puppy” eager to please and solve other people’s problems.

She admits to feeling wary and constantly trying to ensure the contentment of those around her.

On a recent outing, she was accompanied by an unnamed friend who wore a dark gold puffy jacket, matching sunglasses and a textured black skirt.

The two appeared to be enjoying their time together as the wind tousled her slightly curly brown hair.
