New Delhi:
The Bharatiya Janata Party today named its candidates for the Lok Sabha polls for 14 seats in Tamil Nadu and the lone seat in Puducherry.
It fielded A Namassivayam, a minister in the Puducherry government from the union territory.
The party on Thursday nominated candidates for nine Lok Sabha seats.
Among allies, the party has allotted 10 seats to Dr Ramadoss-led Patali Makkal Kutch (PMK) while also allocating some seats to some smaller partners.
The BJP on Thursday fielded Tamil Nadu president K Annamalai from Coimbatore and Union minister L Murugan from the Nilgiris.
It nominated former Telangana governor Tamilisai Soundararajan from the Chennai South constituency and former union minister Pon Radhakrishnan from Kanniyakumari. Pon Radhakrishnan (who represented this constituency in 2014).
