BJP makes cinematic mockery of Uddhav Thackeray after he attacks party

Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party chief Chandrashekhar Bhavankule on Sunday attacked Shiv Sena Party (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray and warned that under the latter’s regime Several corruption cases are about to be discovered.

Thackeray termed the BJP as “BJP” and said the party keeps recruiting tainted people for political gain.

“If Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis makes films on corruption in the erstwhile Uddhav Thackeray government, they will be called ‘Khichdi Files’, ‘Covid Body Bag Files’, ‘Waze’ or ‘Laden Files’. The script to recover files worth Rs 100 crore is ready,” said Bhawankule.

The BJP has accused the Shiv Sena (UBT) of alleged irregularities in distribution of ‘khichdi’ during the pandemic, purchase of body bags for Covid victims and charging commission in awarding contracts.

“Instead of making sarcastic remarks, Thackeray should think about how he behaved at home when he was chief minister for two and a half years. No matter how many sarcastic remarks you make, the people of Maharashtra will give you a befitting reply. ” said Mr. Bawankule.

Reacting to Mr Thackeray’s accusation that the BJP leaders were ignoring the problems in conflict-torn Manipur, the ruling party’s Mumbai unit chief Ashish Shelar said: “Uddhav Thackeray Ray talks about Manipur. If Thackeray is ready to visit Malwani district, I am ready to pay for his transportation.” Mumbai and raised his voice against the atrocities against some of our brothers. “

Shaile claimed that Thackeray was the only leader in Maharashtra who never established himself politically.

Hitting back at corruption allegations against the Shiv Sena (UBT) chief, Mr Sheral said Mr Thackeray’s statement was a classic case of double standards.

“When people were with him, they were clean. But when these people switched to the BJP, Thackeray started calling them corrupt. It seems he is changing the criteria or parameters to decide who is corrupt and who is not.”
