BJP attacks Congress over leader's comments on Hema Malini

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday accused Haryana Congress leader Randeep Surjewala of making “vile, sexist” remarks about his MP Hema Malini, saying it showed the main opposition party is misogynistic and hates women .

In an undated video shared by BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya on The actor-politician has made some objectionable remarks.

“MP Randeep Surjewala made vile and sexist remarks which are insulting and demeaning not only to an accomplished person like Hema Malini but to women in general,” he said.

He added that it was the most disgusting description one could imagine.

“This is Rahul Gandhi’s Congress. It is misogynistic, hates women,” he said, sharing Surjewala’s comments.

Hema Malini is a BJP Lok Sabha member from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, where she is contesting the 2024 general elections.
