Bihar girl eloped with photographer hired for her brother’s wedding: Police

Police said the complainant claimed her daughter had been missing since March 6 (Representative)

Muzaffarpur (Bihar):

A minor girl in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district allegedly eloped with a photographer hired by her family to capture videos of her brother’s wedding, a police officer said on Tuesday.

SHO Rohan Kumar of Ahyarpur police station said the girl’s father, a resident of Chandwaraghat Damodarpur village, had lodged a complaint.

Kumar said the complainant claimed that her daughter was missing since March 6 and they suspected that she had eloped with the videographer, a resident of Mohana village in the Motipur police station area.

“Her father claimed to have been to the defendant’s home after learning that he and the girl were hiding there. However, when he arrived there, he did not find them, and the family of the person who filmed the video also stated that they did not know his whereabouts .”, said the SHO.

“We are trying to trace the accused by monitoring his mobile phone,” he added.
