In a conference call on Tuesday, U.S. President Joe Biden discussed a range of high-level issues with Chinese President Xi Jinping and reiterated demands that China not use web-based disinformation tools to interfere in the U.S. presidential election. The two leaders also discussed Taiwan – an island claimed by China – as the island prepares to inaugurate a new leader next month. VOA’s Anita Powell reported from Washington.
