Bengaluru teen kills mother by smashing her head with iron bar after she refused to serve her breakfast

In a shocking incident, a 17-year-old boy was arrested in Karnataka after he allegedly killed his mother in a rage after she refused to serve him breakfast. The incident took place in Bengaluru’s KR Puram police jurisdiction, where the 40-year-old victim lives with her son.

According to the police, the victim, named Nethra, is a resident of Judge Bheemaiah Layout in KR Puram and hails from Mulbagal taluk in Kolar district.She was reportedly working at a tech park in Whitefield, Bengaluru New Indian Express.

Meanwhile, the accused is reportedly pursuing diploma from a private college in Murbagal. His father was a farmer and his sister was studying medicine in Georgia.

The case came to light on Friday when the young man went to a police station and confessed to killing his mother.

The boy went to bed without dinner Thursday night and his mother scolded him for wasting food, according to police.

The boy told police he was preparing for Friday morning classes and asked his mother to serve him breakfast, but she refused. The two had a heated argument over this, with Netra telling him “he was not her son.”

The boy became angry and hit the woman on the head with an iron rod. The woman died on the spot.

After the incident, the guilt-ridden minor went to the police station and confessed to his crime.
