Bengaluru motorcyclist hit by KSRTC bus, driver arrested

A 50-year-old man was killed on Monday when his motorcycle was allegedly hit by a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Yeshwanthpur Metro station, police said. They said the accident occurred around 10.30 am when Rajendra, who works in a private company, was on his way to the GST office.

According to police, the KSRTC bus from Tumakuru station was heading towards Majestic when the victim’s bicycle mirror hit the bus and the victim fell under the bus. A senior police officer said the injured person was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. “We registered a case and arrested the accused driver in connection with the accident,” he said.
