Jaipur . In Rajasthan, beneficiaries of Ujjwala Scheme will now get Domestic Gas Cylinder for Rs 450. CM Bhajan Lal made this announcement on Wednesday. BJP has fulfilled its promise made in the election manifesto. For this, CM Bhajanlal Sharma has instructed the officials to make planning.

Let us tell you that the Central Government is giving domestic gas cylinders for Rs 600 to the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Scheme. The central government will not give more concessions than this to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme. To fulfill the promise made by BJP in Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal government will have to pay the amount above Rs 450 i.e. Rs 150 at its own level. About 70 lakh families in the state are connected to the Ujjwala scheme. The state government will pay Rs 150 per gas cylinder to these beneficiaries from its account. By doing this, additional expenditure of Rs 105 crore will be incurred on the state government every month.

To fulfill the promise, the subsidy amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiaries by the Bhajanlal government. That means the beneficiaries will have to pay the full amount while taking the gas cylinder. The subsidy amount will later be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The way the Central Government transfers the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi directly into the accounts of the farmers. On the same lines, Bhajan Lal government will also transfer the subsidy amount directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries.
