Believe that the prestige of Ram temple will take India to new heights: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the “historic moment” of the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya will enrich Indian heritage and culture and take the country’s development journey to new heights. This comment of PM Modi has come in response to a two-page letter from President Draupadi Murmu before the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ in Ram temple.

Tagging the President’s letter, Modi said in a post in Hindi on Twitter, “Honourable @rashtrapatibhvn ji, thank you very much for your good wishes on the auspicious occasion of Ram Lala’s consecration in Ayodhya Dham.”

He said, “I am confident that this historic moment will further enrich Indian heritage and culture and take our development journey to new heights.”

President Murmu, in his letter to the PM, said the nationwide celebratory atmosphere is an uninterrupted expression of the eternal soul of India and the beginning of a new cycle in the country’s revival. Murmu praised PM Modi before ‘Pran Pratishtha’.

President Murmu in his letter also mentioned the rigorous 11-day ‘ritual’ undertaken by the Prime Minister and said that it is not only a sacred ritual but also a supreme spiritual act of sacrifice and dedication to Lord Ram.

“We are all fortunate to see the beginning of a new cycle in the resurgence of our nation,” he said.
