after the incident Collision on Francis Scott Key Bridge in BaltimoreThe focus is now on the 22 Indian crew members trapped in the stranded cargo ship “Dali”.

After a tragic accident that kills six people, the crew finds themselves unexpectedly thrust into the spotlight. While officials are investigating the incident, questions remain about the crew’s experiences and challenges in the wreckage.

With uncertainty around the timetable for the ship’s evacuation, crews continue to endure a strict schedule similar to their seafaring duties.

Chris James, who works for a consulting firm assisting Synergy Marine, the company that manages the ship, told The New York Times that the crew had adequate supplies of food and water, as well as plenty of fuel to keep generators running.

Even though the Chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board Jennifer Homendy got on board this weekshe said she saw the crew cooking.

“It smells delicious,” Jennifer Homendy was quoted as saying by The New York Times.

The report also said that Dali crew members also have some leisure facilities, such as video game cabins, gyms, table tennis, TVs, and some magazines and books to read.

Since there is no internet on the ship, Baltimore port officials also provided two Wi-Fi hotspots for the crew.

However, there is currently no official confirmation or timetable for when the ship will be recovered from the wreckage. Some officials said efforts could be made to rotate the ship and assist in its return once the National Transportation Safety Board and Coast Guard conclude their investigation.

last week, U.S. investigative team boards container ship Piloted by Indian crew and restored its data recorder.

At least eight people fell into the water and six others were presumed dead after the collision of the Singapore-flagged “Dali”. The ship hit the 2.6-kilometre-long Francis Scott Key Bridge as it left the busy port last week.

The boat collided with a pillar on Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, causing the car to plunge into the river. Eight construction workers were repairing potholes on the bridge when they fell into the river.
