Ayodhya Ram temple inauguration live updates: Just a day before the auspicious ‘Pran Pratishtha’ or consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the temple complex has been draped with flowers and illuminated with lights. The inauguration ceremony of the grand temple is scheduled to be held on January 22 between 12:15 pm and 12:45 pm, but the rituals preceding the closing ceremony began on January 16.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to preside over the consecration ceremony of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple, in which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat will share the stage with several other dignitaries. Ahead of the consecration ceremony, PM Modi is visiting several temples across India. He is scheduled to visit the Kothandaramaswami temple in Dhanushkodi on Sunday, where he is scheduled to pay darshan and participate in a puja ceremony at the temple. Additionally, he will also explore Arichal Munai, which is believed to be the place where ‘Ram Setu’ was constructed.

Over 7,000 people have been invited by the temple trust and they include cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
