Audi has launched the RS6 Avant GT, a limited-edition tribute to its powerful V8 supercar that marks the start of its extensive electrification efforts.

Only 660 units will be sold worldwide, and this special edition features performance-boosting aerodynamic enhancements, bespoke carbon fiber body parts, retro design and a significant price increase over the standard model.

Inspired by the 2020 RS6 GTO concept car built by Audi apprentices, the RS6 Avant GT is a road-legal evolution of the top-performance version of the RS6. Notably, it became the first Audi car to use carbon fiber on the bonnet, fenders and wheels.

According to Autocar, the RS6 Avant GT stays true to its roots with a unique livery that reflects the GTO concept, with two unique paint schemes available: one in white, gray and red with white wheels, and the other The varieties are stylish gray and black. .

Performance is boosted by aerodynamic enhancements, including motorsport-inspired twin wings, a functional rear diffuser and a more aggressive front splitter, all designed to increase speed. Even the roof rails have been ditched for a sleeker silhouette. Inside, the 22-inch wheels are aerodynamically optimized, and various interior components bear “RS6 GT” badging.

Cabin highlights include Dinamica suede-like upholstery, highlighted by red and bronze stitching on the seats, steering wheel and floor mats. Each vehicle comes with a special nameplate indicating its unique model.

To enhance agility in Dynamic mode, the suspension and rear differential have been adjusted, the body has been lowered by 10 mm and the dampers have been stiffened.
