Apple may delay 2024 iPad Pro and iPad Air launch to May: What to expect

A recent report suggested that tech giant Apple will launch new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, which are reportedly expected to be available in late March or early April.However, an update reportedly suggests the launch may be delayed, pushing it to May 91 mobile phone. New iPad Pro, iPad Air release schedule, etc.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans to launch the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air models in early May, but the specific release date has not yet been determined. The upcoming iPad Pro series is expected to feature OLED display technology, an improved Magic Keyboard, and a new M3 chip. Meanwhile, the iPad Air is expected to be available in a standard 10.9-inch size and a larger 12.9-inch size.

Gurman further pointed out that Apple’s suppliers are increasing production of the new iPad. The tech giant had originally targeted a release in March or early April and is now prioritizing completing the software for the new device. In addition, the report also mentioned that the complex production process of OLED iPad Pro models is also one of the reasons for the delay.

According to recent research, moving to an OLED display instead of the current mini-LED panel could give the iPad Pro a sleeker design. Additionally, there are rumors that the upcoming iPad Pro models will be equipped with a horizontal Face ID camera.
