According to The Elec, Apple is planning a compact foldable iPad, which is expected to debut in 2026-2027. To be more precise, the iPad could be 7 to 8 inches in size and could potentially serve as a replacement for the existing 8.3-inch iPad Mini that’s currently available for purchase.
If such a model becomes a reality, it would mean the possibility of an overall compact iPad device. However, when unfolded, it will offer a sizable screen.
At the same time, the publication also highlighted that Apple is actively developing flat OLED panels intended for use in future iterations of the iPad mini. This development may unfold after Apple’s iPad Pro series completes the transition to OLED panels.
