The launch of AirPlay in hotel rooms marks Apple’s fulfillment of a promise made at WWDC 2023, albeit later than expected. As this feature becomes easier to use, one can hope to expand it to more countries and hotel brands in the future, with the potential for integration of other streaming standards such as Chromecast and Miracast. Currently, interested parties can find the full list of supported hotels on the IHG website.
