Amid Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s ongoing battle over a French winery, Jolie’s legal representatives have made high-profile accusations against Pitt.

According to new legal filings, Jolie’s lawyers claim that Pitt physically abused her before the pair had a well-documented argument on September 14, 2016, on a flight from France to Los Angeles.

Legal documents filed in a motion filed Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court indicate that Pitt’s alleged physical attack on Jolie occurred before the 2016 plane incident.

Although he denied all accusations of physical abuse and no charges were filed against him during the FBI investigation into the altercation, her legal team maintained their story.

A source close to the matter revealed dailymail.com“While Pitt’s history of physical abuse toward Jolie began long before the family’s plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse toward the children.”

The actress’s attorneys argued that Brad refused to receive domestic violence counseling and ignored major family issues in seeking partial custody of their six children.

Sources close to Jolie revealed that despite Jolie’s alleged abusive behavior, he is still seeking joint custody, even with the children with whom he lacks a stable relationship.
