The daughter of a missing woman has told Sky News her family are “desperate to find her”.
police Scotland A search has begun for Angela Keenan, 58, who was reported missing from Lenzie, East Dunbartonshire.
Ms Keenan was last seen in the Laxton Drive area of the town at around 7am on Tuesday.
Her daughter Erin McGowan described her mother as a “very high risk vulnerable missing person”.
The 25-year-old told Sky News: “Her disappearance is out of character for her. This has never happened before.”
“We have searched everywhere we can think of. We have no idea where she might be.
“We are all desperate to find her and bring her home.”
Ms McGowan, from Paisley, said the mother-of-four enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ms McGowan said she was “incredibly kind and generous”, adding: “She always thought of others before herself. She was a kind-hearted person and a fantastic mum.”

Ms Keenan is believed to be driving a black Kia Venga with registration number SD63 VLL.

She is described as having a slim build, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, with blond hair usually tied into a ponytail.
She is believed to be wearing a black down jacket, black jeans, gray slippers and a silver bracelet on her right wrist.

Inspector Michael Booker said: “Our concerns for Angela’s welfare are with her family and we would like to appeal to anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact police as soon as possible.
“She was known to have traveled to Loch Lomond; [the] The Trossachs, St Andrews, Pitlochry and Ayrshire areas. “
