American man walks around with severed human leg and onlookers say ‘he’s eating it’

A man was arrested in California on Friday after he was spotted walking around with the severed leg of a man killed in a train crash, police said. A video of the incident emerged on social media, showing the man waving his leg and appearing to sniff and eat part of the leg.

The man removed the body parts from the tracks at the Wasco Amtrak station, local news station KBAK/FOX58 reported. In the video, he appears unconcerned even as police approach him, even briefly waving when he spots the camera.

He can be seen laughing hysterically while looking directly at the person recording the video. A voice from behind said in English: “He’s eating that shit.”

India Today was unable to independently verify the video.

Officials responded to reports of a female pedestrian struck by a train at an Amtrak station about 25 miles (40 kilometers) northwest of Bakersfield. Later, deputies learned that a 27-year-old man, Resendo Tellez, allegedly removed evidence – a broken leg – from the accident scene.

He was later found and arrested without incident on multiple outstanding warrants as well as evidence at the scene, KBAK/FOX58 reported.
