AI models can now compete in this weird ‘Miss AI’ influencer beauty contest

Miss AI, the world’s first beauty pageant to judge the best artificial intelligence (AI) models and influencers, has been announced. The competition is organized by the World Artificial Intelligence Creator Awards (WAIC) to recognize the achievements of artificial intelligence creators around the world. According to the website listing, the beauty pageant will award a total of $20,000 (approximately Rs. 16.7 lakh) to the winner. Entries for Miss AI open on April 14, and any creator behind the artificial intelligence-generated model can sign up. Creators must have social media presence and be 18 years or older.

detail Details of WAIC’s first Miss AI Contest have been announced on the official website (pass Forbes), the program also intends to host other similar awards focusing on style, diversity and AI-generated men. Miss AI specializes in AI-generated female models or social media influencers that are created entirely using AI tools. There are no restrictions on the tools used to create models. It is worth noting that OpenAI’s DALL-E 3, Midjourney and Copilot Designer are popular tools for creating AI avatars.

While the concept of an AI influencer beauty pageant may sound strange, the event’s website states that participants will be judged on three criteria: beauty, technology and social impact. Cosmetology focuses on assessing classic aspects of pageantry such as beauty, balance and answers to a series of questions. Technology will focus on the skills to use and implement artificial intelligence tools to create artificial intelligence models. The use of prompts for creating output will also be evaluated.

WAIC explained the social impact criteria, saying, “The social impact of AI creators will be evaluated based on the number of interactions they have with fans, audience growth, and usage of other platforms such as Instagram.” Each creator in the three categories will be scored using a points-based system, with each entrant receiving an overall score.

According to WAIC, a panel of four judges will evaluate all contestants. Interestingly, two of them are AI influencers themselves. Aitana Lopez, who has more than 3 million followers, and Emily Pellegrini, who has 2.81 million Instagram followers, are both digital avatars. In addition, entrepreneur Andrew Bloch and beauty pageant judge Sally-Ann Fawcett will also take part in a panel representing real humans.

While the date for the online awards ceremony has not yet been revealed, it is said to be taking place later this month. The winners will be announced on May 10th. The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of $5,000 (approximately Rs. 4.10 lakh). Other prizes for the winner and runner-up include a mentorship program, promotional packages and PR support.
