Adult film star Emily Willis, 25, remains in critical condition after cardiac arrest

Adult film star Emily Willis was hospitalized early last month and is currently in a coma. Her condition remains critical.Her family reportedly warned fans to prepare for the worst TMZ reports.

She is currently on a ventilator to help her breathe, according to her father, Michael Willis. The 25-year-old suffered a heart attack while recovering. It was initially thought Emily’s cardiac arrest was caused by an apparent drug overdose, but her father later revealed her toxicology tests came back negative.

He added that before entering the rehab center, her appetite had decreased and she “weighed only 80 pounds when she checked in.” Emily spent eight days in rehab. The father added that his daughter was determined to address her substance abuse issues and wanted to get healthy.

Her brother Michael created a GoFundMe page in a desperate attempt to pay for his sister’s medical bills. They have raised $47,162 of their $600,000 goal. He wrote: “Regarding the overdose reports, we would like to clarify that, to the best of the knowledge of doctors and my family, these reports are not accurate. At the time of the incident, Emily was receiving the treatment and help she needed to overcome her Struggle.”

“She retired from the adult industry nearly two years ago and aspires to succeed in other areas of entertainment. Those who have worked with her on her new career path know she has the potential to achieve her dreams,” he added.

In an update to the page, the family said: “Thank you again for everyone’s kind words and donations. It warms the heart of her loved ones to know she was loved by those who knew her. We appreciate your support without any expectations or assumptions And deservedly so. Your support gives us the strength to endure and stay strong for Emily.”

“We would like to express our gratitude to those who have donated, and please know that your generosity will greatly assist Emily in her ongoing recovery process,” he wrote to clear up “misinformation” being spread on social media.
