Billionaire Gautam Adani today announced the opening of the Adani Green Energy Gallery at London’s Science Museum, showcasing a “scientific vision for a sustainable future”.

This landmark gallery will showcase scientific visions of a sustainable future driven by renewable energy and low-carbon technologies. #SustainableFuture #GreenEnergy,” Mr Adani posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The Science Museum was established in 1857 and is one of London’s major tourist attractions.
The Adani Group, at the forefront of India’s green energy transition, has set a target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 or earlier, with its five portfolio companies namely Adani Green Energy, Adani Energy Solutions, Adani Ports and Economy SEZ, ACC, and Ambuja Cement Company – the group which is also India’s largest integrated infrastructure developer said in a statement today.
Mr Adani had earlier said he would invest about $100 billion over the next 10 years in India’s green energy transition and planned to expand solar capacity to 10 gigawatts by 2027.
Adani portfolio companies have developed an aggressive decarbonization strategy, committing to planting 100 million trees by 2030 and undertaking innovative pilot projects, including the development of hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks, the company said in a statement.
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has a locked-in growth trajectory of 20.8 gigawatts (GW) and currently operates a renewable energy portfolio of over 9 GW, India’s largest, spread across 12 states.
