While Navneet Malik and Khushi Dubey are set to play the new leads of the show, a recent report suggests that Ashish Dixit has been replaced by Sheezan Khan.

According to reports in India Forum, sources close to the production revealed that Sheezan Khan, known for his role in Colors TV’s Chand Jalne Laga, has joined the cast as a parallel lead in the show. “Ashish Dixit was initially selected to play the role, however, Sheezaan was later finalized for the role,” sources revealed.

Earlier reports indicated that Ashish decided not to be a part of the show due to the difference between the initial details given to him and the actual story portrayed in the promos.

Recently the creators of the show have released a promo on the Instagram handle of Star Plus. The teaser shows Rukmini (played by Khushi Dubey) as an undercover police officer bravely fighting the goons. Simultaneously, Rukmini faces family pressure to marry Sumit (played by Navneet Malik), which goes against her aspirations of becoming a famous officer. The show promises an interesting saas-bahu story full of twists, as the audience eagerly awaits Rukmini’s journey and whether marriage will compromise her dreams or not. The much-awaited show is scheduled to premiere on television from January 22.
