Police said that a car lost its wheel at the level crossing during the arrival of a train.
footage shared by Polish Police showed a red car driving at a level crossing in Katowice on Thursday (23 October) when a wheel separated from the vehicle, rendering the car immobile.
The two occupants of the car can be seen attempting to move the vehicle out of harm’s way, when an off-duty police officer arrives to help move the car from the track.
Officials said that “a few moments later”, a train passed through the crossing, which “clearly demonstrated how tragic the consequences of this situation could be”.
