Chennai, Oct 29 (IANS) Chief Minister MK Stalin will on Wednesday undertake an extensive tour of Tamil Nadu’s Tenkasi district, inaugurating a series of government welfare schemes and distributing aid to thousands of beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister will start his journey from Ariyanakipuram in Tirunelveli district in the morning and proceed to Tenkasi by road. He will be given a grand welcome under the leadership of Tirunelveli (West) DMK in-charge Avudaiyappan at the district border in Alangulam.

From there, CM Stalin will proceed to Lathur via Athiyuthu, Surandai and Sambavaravadakarai, where he will hand over the 1,00,000th house constructed under the Kalaignar Kanavu Ilam Housing Scheme to beneficiary Sumathi – a major milestone in the state’s flagship project.
