The Indian Army said on Monday that it thwarted a major infiltration attempt by Jaish-e-Mohammed militants along with the Line of Control (LOC) in the Poonch-Rajouri region.
In AA’s statement, the news agency – Kashmir News Observer (KNO) was released, a spokesman said many terrorists were neutralized, while a guide – which was offering infiltration – was captured – was also recovered – arms and ammunition.
“On June 29, alert soldiers discovered suspected agitation in the Kerry region of Rajouri, which is a known infiltration route. It comes a few days before the start of the Amarnath Yatra, working on accurate intelligence, soldiers, the soldiers rapidly attached the infiltration group of heavy armed gem terrorists.”
