Srinagar, May 12: Minster for education, Sokina Itu said on Monday that all schools and colleges in the valley will reopen from Tuesday (May 13, 2025) with the exception of people located in Kupwara, Baramulla and sub-districts of Gurez.
Education Minister Saqina Itu said, “I will resume working tomorrow in all the districts except schools, colleges Kupwara, Baramulla and Gurez, where the situation is still being monitored.”
This decision follows the duration of closure due to increased stress in the region last week. Officers are assessing the situation in excluded areas and will announce the reopening of dates accordingly.
