Terrorist organizations used religion to justify killing people, Islam condemns terrorism: Owaisi

All Bharat Majlis-e-Itihadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Asaduddin Owaisi, part of the all-party delegation led by BJP MP Bajayant Panda, said that terrorist groups use religion to use religion incorrectly. He said that Islam condemns terrorism and the Quran clearly states that killing an innocent person is like killing everyone of humanity.

During a conversation with prominent personalities in Bahrain, Owasi said, “These terrorist organizations have justified the killings of innocent people in India and they have quoted the verses of the Quran … We have to end it. We have to end the killing of the people. They have to check the killing of people properly. Human beings.”

Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Democratic Progressive Azad Party President Ghulam Nabi Azad called for strong international support to counter terrorism. Azad said, “… We need support in every international forums and OIC (organization of Islamic cooperation) … We do not want to end any country. We want Pakistan to destroy this terrorist infrastructure and take action against terrorists …”

In this conversation, BJP MP S Fangan Konyak said that Pakistan has continued its terrorist activities against India since partition and urged Bahrain to ask Pakistan to take responsibility.

He said that the Government of India has made its stand clear and will strongly respond to attack again. “Since the partition, Pakistan has not stopped its terrorist activities against India … Our request is whether Bahrain can also come forward and ask Pakistan to take action and take responsibility for its actions … The Indian government is very clear on its stance this time … If attacked again, India replied,” Konyak said.

The delegation aims to brighten the international partners on India’s reaction to the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April and its widespread fighting against terrorism across the border while joining leaders in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Algeria.

The multi-party delegation, which includes seven groups under the leadership of an MP each, has been initiated to combat global misinformation and highlight India’s zero-assessment policy on terrorism. (AI)
