Without action, Army, CRPF and Kashmiris will continue to face attacks: AIMIM Supremo Owaisi

Web Desk, 04/05/2025

On Sunday, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owasi warned that terrorist attacks on Indian forces and citizens would remain recurring without strong and immediate government action, as they urged unity and demanded official recognition of 26 recent victims as martyrs during a public meeting in Eastern Chambaran of Bihar.

Speaking at a public meeting, the AIMIM chief called for unity, condemned the politicization of terrorism, and demanded that 26 victims of the recent attack be officially recognized as martyrs.

“I am calling it with great responsibility, without leaving emotions, without dominating me: This is a time of reaction, not reflection.

He said that AIMIM supports every decision of the Government of India which weakens Pakistan. “We hope that our government will take strong action. The AIMIM party supports every decision made by the Government of India which weakens Pakistan, whether it is economic or otherwise. If it is necessary to weaken or separate their economy, it is necessary, it should be done.”

He said, “We believe that terrorism should be abolished. This is a national issue, not political, and no one should politicize it,” he said. Owaisi also shared a story of one of the victims to emphasize his point.

“I want to tell you about a young woman named Himanshi, her husband was shot dead six days after her marriage. These terrorists killed her husband. But Himanshi gave a message: Although she lost her husband, but she does not want hatred against Muslims or Kashmiris. We hope that Indian government misses her words.”

He criticized people who use such incidents to split and spread hatred.

“The country will never forgive those who try to spread hatred for their own gains, rather than united against terrorists and those nations who support them,” he said.

“Remember, at this time we need unity, peace and love, do not hate. People who spread hatred are bringing smiles on the faces of groups like Late and Pakistan. We want to wipe those smiles with their face. We want those who sit beyond the border, are rejoiced on our sorrows, are in tears, to ensure their luck, they said.

Owaisi urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to officially declare 26 people, who were killed as martyrs. “This is a time to send a strong message for a United India. We demand from the Prime Minister that 26 people killed in this incident should be officially declared martyr, so they are remembered forever. This demand is not just from me – it is from the families of the victims who are still waiting for justice.”

“We expect a strong and decisive step from the Government of India to end terrorism. My dear friends and elders, I consider it lucky to stand on this historic land today. And those who are spreading poison and hatred between communities in India and Bihar.”

Owaisi criticized the BJP -led Central Government for the recently passed 2025 WAQF Amendment Act, called it a “black law” and demanded immediate cancellation.

“You know that a law has been made by the BJP that attacks the trust of Muslims, it is a threat to our mosques, our sanctity, our identity.” He said that the law is ideologically operated and targets Muslim religious institutions. “The new 2025 Amendment Act is nothing but an RSS -operated effort to take away its mosques, dargahs, khanqah, buried places and Muslims of Idgahs. It is an attempt to marginalize and erase honest members of our community.”

Owaisi also appealed for unity and resistance against the law, and said, “I appeal to you to unite against this black law and raise their voice to protect the Constitution of India and demand that this law be canceled. This should be our collective announcement against Modi’s government. This law is against the fundamental rights in the constitution.”

He also criticized regional leaders who supported the amendment.

“I regret saying that leaders like Nitish Kumar, Chirg Paswan, Kushwaha, Chandrababu Naidu and Kumaraswamy have praised this black law,” Azim said.

Questioning the argument behind the amendment, he said: “We want to ask them-Hindu temples in Bihar do not follow a law that allows Hindus to be members only? Then why are you allowing non-Muslims to appoint non-Muslim Waqf boards? What is the argument?

“If only Hindu and Buddhist Bodh can be members in Gaya, how can you allow non-Muslims on Muslim Waqf boards in Bihar? You cannot explain it because your only foundation is hatred. And that is why this black law should be opposed,” said the AIMIM chief.

Earlier in the day, Owissi called Pakistan a “unsuccessful state” and urged the Government of India to work firmly against it to support terrorism. “We hope that the Prime Minister will take strong action against the Pakistani terrorists and the unsuccessful state of Pakistan that it will think a hundred times before sending anyone to harm India.”

He criticized Pakistan for seeking evidence after the previous terrorist attacks. “Pakistan is asking shamelessly for evidence. Have we not invited you to Pathakot and showed you that your terrorists have attacked our Air Force? (AI)
