US President Donald Trump met with Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sara in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was also in appearance, and Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan participated through the phone.
He discussed major issues including Russia-Ukraine, focused on finding a resolution for the struggle and addressed the ongoing war in Gaza, in which Trump urged Syria to sign the Abraham agreement with Israel.

Sharing a post on X about the meeting of President Trump, the press secretary of the White House, Karolin Levitt wrote, Crown Prince also appreciated President Trump for his decision to lift the sanctions, called it “courageous”.
