DC Kupwara inspects NEET exam centers

Kupwara, May 4, KDC: In relation to the smooth and fair conduct of the NEET (UG) 2025 examination, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today made extensive travel to various examination centers in the district.

During the journey, the Deputy Commissioner completely inspected the examination system and reviewed the overall preparations on the ground. He interacted with the principal, nominated magistrates and security personnel, who were posted at the venue, emphasized the strict adherence to the examination protocol. DC also inspected the control room established at the center to ensure real -time coordination and monitoring of the examination process.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited GDC Kupwara, Government Higher Secondary School Handwara and other nominated NEET centers to assess the arrangements there. She was with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Javed Naseem Masudi and expressed satisfaction over the conduct and coordination seen at the center.

Following the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kupwara Mumtaz Ahmed visited all the five NEET examination centers across the district to monitor the system and assess the on-round status.

A total of five centers were established in Kupwara district for NEET 2025. Out of 2,159 registered candidates, 2,100 appeared for the examination, while 59 candidates were absent.

The district administration confirmed its commitment to ensure a transparent, safe and hassle -free examination environment for all candidates, in coordination with the concerned stakeholders. (KDC)
