Two men were found dead in a hotel room in west Delhi’s Nangloi area on Saturday, police said.

They said they received a message at 2:47 p.m. that a hotel room was locked and two people in the room were unresponsive.

A senior police officer said that after the police arrived at the scene, they found the bodies of two men, Jitesh Ghanghas (29 years old), a resident of Haryana, and Sachin (24 years old) from Nangloi in room 304.

Police said pill bottles and syringes were also found in the room. Police said there was no foul play and suspected drug abuse was the cause of death.

The body has been sent to SGM Hospital for further treatment, the official said, adding that further investigation was underway.
