4 children die in short-circuit fire in UP Meerut district: Police

Four children died after a short circuit occurred in a house in Meerut’s Palapuram area, a police officer said.

Daurala SP Shichita Singh said, “On the evening of March 23, around 4:40 pm, we received information that a fire broke out in a house in Modipuram Janata Colony under the jurisdiction of Pallavpuram police station. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade and police rushed there on site.”

After a quick response from the fire department and police, it was determined that the fire was caused by a short circuit within the residence.

“On arrival it was discovered that the cause of the fire was a short circuit,” Nanada Singh said.

The family affected by the fire includes a husband, wife and their four children.

The husband and wife were identified as Johnny and Babita respectively.

“The family affected by the short circuit included a husband, wife and four children. They were rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. The four children suffered 70% burn injuries and were therefore transferred to the medical college,” said Nanita Singh.

Despite the best efforts of medical staff, four children succumbed to their injuries while being treated at the medical school.

“During the course of treatment, medical college doctors informed that all four children succumbed to their injuries due to severe burn injuries. The woman was transferred to Safdarjung Hospital for further treatment and is still undergoing treatment in the hospital. Johnny has been treated , currently receiving treatment.” His condition is stable and he is out of danger. ” Said Nanita Singh.

A fire broke out at a dry fruit company in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad early on Saturday.

There have been no reports of casualties. The Tronica City Fire Department received information about the fire incident and dispatched five fire engines to the scene.
