A 20-year-old man, who was studying with a woman (19) at a training center in Jaipur, allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison on Sunday, police said.

Chomu station police officer Pradeep Sharma said Jatin Sain and Ankita Yadav were found unconscious in a car in the town.

He said they were rushed to a nearby hospital but could not be rescued. Preliminary evidence showed that they committed suicide after taking poison.

“According to preliminary information, they were both residents of Jaipur and studying together at a coaching centre. Their families have been informed and their bodies have been shifted to the mortuary for autopsy,” he added.
