SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head are enjoying life in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season. Abhishek and Head played together for the first time and formed a huge partnership in the SRH rankings. The duo scored the highest ever power-play score – 125 runs in the IPL – against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday. Abhishek scored 46 runs off 12 balls while Head was the main spoiler with 89 runs off 32 balls. Soon after Kuldeep Yadav’s power play, Axar Patel took a quick catch at short extra cover and was dismissed.
During the post-match interaction, Abhishek revealed that his mentor, the legendary Yuvraj Singh, would not be satisfied with his performance.
Abhishek, who has scored just half a goal this season, also said Yuvraj wanted him to bat for longer.
“I would say at the end he’ll be frustrated. But overall I think he’ll be happy. He always wants me to bat longer.
