Xiaomi has announced a timeline for expanding its latest user interface, HyperOS, to multiple smartphones and tablets in the coming months. The software replaces the company’s older MIUI operating system. It was first launched late last year with the Mi 14 and Mi 14 Pro models. The recently launched top-of-the-line Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra phone also runs Android-14 based HyperOS out of the box. During the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 event in Barcelona, ​​Xiaomi announced the list of devices that will soon receive the stable HyperOS update.

The Chinese OEM said that the Mi 13, Mi 13T, Mi 12 and Mi 12T series will receive stable updates to HyperOS in the first half of 2024 (i.e. June this year). Even some Redmi phones – such as the Redmi Note 13 5G and Redmi Note 12 5G series are said to get this update.

Xiaomi and Redmi models expected to receive HyperOS update by June 2024 are – Mi 13, Mi 13 Pro, Mi 13 Ultra, Mi 13T, Mi 13T Pro, Mi 12, Mi 12 Pro, Mi 12T, Mi 12T Pro, Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.

Among other devices, the recently launched Mi Pad 6S Pro, Mi Watch S3 and Mi Smart Band 8 Pro all run HyperOS out of the box. Older tablets such as Xiaomi Pad 6 and Redmi Pad SE have also been confirmed to receive HyperOS updates in June this year.

It is worth noting that the base Mi 14 phone is scheduled to be launched in India on March 7. The Indian version of this model is likely to have similar specifications to the Chinese version.
